July already??

Well it's July....and we haven't been to the lake yet. By this time last year, we have been down there for 5 straight weeks. I guess there are bad things to Al having a job too. lol ...jk! We had a ok summer so far. Just us 4 spending time together. We went to Orlando, and swimming at grandma just about everyday. Rainy days we do the movies.

I really miss spending time with friends. Ready for some sports to start back. July 4th night we went to Hilliard with Jen to watch fireworks. Then the boys stayed with her. Then her boys stayed with me. The next night E and Blayz stayed the night. Thats where we're at now.

Oh, I forgot... Al got into an auto accident last week. Some soldier rearended him in his GMC. He is sick about the whole thing. I, on the other hand...have nothing to say. But him and Aden both love that truck. We were lucky though, Al had just taken his daddys truck back to him the day before he got hit.

Conner got his cast on the other day. A black one. Al ddrew an under armor logo on it and it looks pretty sweet. He gets it off July 27th. 3 days before football starts. Oh, Conner decided to play football. Im so excited! I think he would have regreted it if he wouldn't have played. Aden is excited too, he gets to run the ball park every night. Because we KNOW he's not playing. He will be better off supporting the icee guy's future. Well thats about it so far. Hope the summer starts to get more exciting soon. Al's taking a week off in the next few weeks. But we got to put some of thoese days to working on the new house. Hopefully next time I blog, it will be to tell you we in the new house!!!

Broken and ???

Well, We are at the end of our baseball season, finally. Last Thursday night was Conner first and last, real allstar game. Before the game even started, he was in the batting cages warming up and somehow broke his hand. We didn't know it at the time so he played one of his better games. (with a broke hand) I was taking Aden to see Mrs Lyn the next day for a check-up so I took Conner so she could look at it. She sent us to Wolfson's and had it x-rayed. Before we even left, I got the call from her telling me it was broke! So Ive got to call Mrs Lyn Tomorrow, (Monday) to see when we go to the Orthopedic to get a cast on it. His Callahan allstar team has another game Monday night, I wish he could play. He really don't seem like it hurts that bad! Well...at least baseball is almost over. Guess I'll be paying the extra money for a waterproof cast! :)

Summer begins

OMG...I havent blogged in a while...sorry boys!! Well lets see, school got out about a week ago. We did the travel ball for 3 weeks and I'm glad its over!!! They got out on a Wed. and we left for Orlando on Friday. We were going to Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Ga, but I heard from a few people it wasen't that great. So..we headed to Disney where you can't go wrong. We left Friday afternoon and got to the hotel and went straight to the pool to swim. Sat morning we got up and went to Universal Studios. We had alot of fun, we rode the new roller coster they have there. Aden and I rode it 2 times, he loved it. I do know, It was HOT!!!! We rode all the rides then went to the Under Armor store, then back to the hotel to swim again. Ate dinner at Joe's Crab Shack..Yum! Sunday morning we went to Typhoon Lagoon water park. We got there an hour before it opened. We stayed all day. Al and I rode just about everything the boys did. We only layed out about 20 min the whole day, and we left the park at 5 that afternoon. It was hot that day too. Here it is Thursday, 1 week out of school so far and we have been to the beach, Orlando, grandmas pool 2 days, and going back to the beach tomorrow. Can we say HOT summer. If your not in the water during the day, you better be in the AC. It's been a hot summer so far, and I love it! I love spending the time with my boys. I love you both, you are my life!!!

Same sport different team!

Well...summer is almost here, and where do we usually go during the month of June? The Lake House!! But not this year, we're going another round of baseball. Today Conner played his 1st tournament of the summer. It was a AWESOME game!! We played Ponte Vedra and we were down the whole game. Half way through Conner got a triple which brought us to 3 down instead of 6 down. I complain about summer ball, but if every game is like that game, I won't care. We won 14-13!! I think so far we plan on playing for the next 3 weeks. In July, Allstars start!! So... Im gonna have a farmers tan this year and Aden is gonna stay a ballpark kid for who knows how long! But, baseball is Conner's sport and whatever make my baby happy!!!!

Sand and Sun= Beach!! :)

This past Saturday I took the boys to the beach. And like I said before, either the boys are gone to a friends house or they have friends with them. I had 7 people in my truck headed to the beach! Me, Conner, Aden, Sami, Wanda, Storm, and Raeli. Sami and I laid out in the sun while the kids played in the water and rocks. They had alot of fun & I got some much needed sun. After the beach, to boys went to stay with Storm and Raeli's to stay the night so Al and I could go out for our 12 year anniversary! We went to Sushi Rock and it was gooood... Thank you Kelly! Hopefully we can go back to the beach sometime soon.....but I doubt it, travel ball starts next weekend!

Mother's day weekend!

Well lets see, let's start out on Friday. I spent the day shopping with mama, just me and her. Much needed time together alone. Really enjoyed the day with her. Friday night we went to Ethan & Skylar Whitty's birthday party and Blayze Padgett's birthday party in Fernandina. Really neat place for kids to act CRAZY. They had any kind of video games for the kids to play and jumpie things everywhere. The boys loved it there and stayed the night with Blayze and 8 other boys. Bless Montina and Bobbie! Al had a softball game so we left a little early. Saturday the boys had their final game against the White Sox. Who has beat us once and tied once. Aden had the first hit of the game and had a outfield fly out. He had a good game. We shut them out 9-0!!! Nana Armstrong came out to watch Conner and Aden, so it was special. Went to, where else but Burger King to eat afterward with Nana. After that I took Storm, Raeli, Conner, and Aden swimming at mom's. Wasen't there but 2-3 hours but they had fun and I got a little sun. Sat night Al, the boys and I went to Jacksonville to eat and pick out mother's day gifts. Conner ended up buying him and Aden bikes with his birthday money he has saved since last year's birthday. They could wait to get home from church Sunday to ride them. But... 12:30am Mother's Day, I laid my head down to go to sleep, and heard it...Aden getting sick!!! It was BAD too! I had to change the sheets and give him a bath. Got that done and an hour later he did it again. Had to bath him and change the sheets one more time. So needless to say, this went on till 6:30. So we didn't make it to church. Conner then woke up at 7:30 and said his stomach was hurting. Yep.. he got sick too. My poor babies had it coming out everywhere...on Mother's Day!! About 3:00 today they finally quit between the both and have been asleep since. I love my baby boys and wouldn't trade it for anything...even a sick Mother's Day!

Boys will be boys!

Today was just another hot summer day at our house. A hot 91 degrees outside and a cool 72 degrees inside. After church, we went and picked up the boys from Aunt Jen's house. Well needless to say, we had 4 boys at our house now! I fed them and sent them outside. (because it was beautiful out) About an hour of not hearing them, I went and check on them. They were outside on the trampoline with the water hose. Laughing, fliping, and having the time of their life. I thought back when I was little, and told Conner to hang on I was gonna make it more fun. So I went inside and grabbed the liquid dawn soap. I tried to capture the moment... but here are a few pics!!!

New to this!

So, Bloggin is the new thing and I havent did it yet. So I'm gonna try and blog at least once or twice a week about my family, mostly about Conner and Aden. I want to do this so when they grow up, they can look back at our page of all the memories we had as a family. Bloggin about sports, school, vacations, pics, and everything else a mama can brag about! Conner, Aden, and Al are my life and I don't want to forget anything!!!!!
